Hi....for those of you who remember me...thank you. For those who don't, I'm an old fart from the old days of the alt.multimedia.tk usenet newsgroups that predate the forums by a number of years and a FAIRLY popular artist on DeviantART.

Well....I wanted to get some input from some of you good people on an idea I had. Along with being a fan of tickle RPing, I'm also an old school RP nerd into systems such as D&D, White Wolf, Rifts and a number of other systems. What I want to know is....is there any interest at all in the creation of an actual legit "RP system" for the tickling community? I mean a world setting with a mythos, story driven narrative, rules, stats, etc?

For easily over a decade I've been developing a fantasy setting called "Mytheroptera" that has an entire engrossed and detailed backstory just ripe for tickling and/or kinky adventures. It was originally meant to be the setting for an actual story/comic series but after spending so many years fleshing out the setting itself, I realized in the end all this content could better be applied to an actual RP system.

I know first hand what its like to deal with totally immature RP fanatics who have no friggin clue what they're doing, RP with "one hand" and as soon as they've shot one off, lose interest and move on. This kind of thing would be intended for the SERIOUS RP fans who may actually want to invest a bit more into the experience; the people who like character development, story advancement and the thrill of working up to the "pay off" of the well deserved tickle scenario.

I also ask this because if this does happen, I'll probably be looking for other talented individuals to contribute if possible...both developing mythos and possibly contributing artwork. For starters I want to put together a "core rulebook" in PDF form with all the basic starter info needed to run a game and if all goes well, further supplements will follow with expanded content and additional world mythos.

The actual game mechanics are still in the beta stage, trying to figure out a good system thats easy to learn but at the same time advanced enough to make things interesting. This is all based around the many chat services that now offer dice rolling apps as part of the service such as F-List and Roll20.net...I want to put an end to the spontaneous "power gamers" who can't play fair and always do what they want whether you want it or not....

So yeah thats my pitch....I want to make our own version of D&D...a setting based primarily on tickling with other fetishes also included as side elements if needed like foot fetishism, bondage and all the rest.

Let me know how you all feel about this idea. Thanks for listening 🙂

That sounds amazing~ I don't know what I can do, but I would love to help!

Long time no, see, Chesh! 😀

Strangely enough, some people here were talking about something similar just a week or two ago. So yeah, it sounds like there's definitely going to be some interest.

I'm interested in the 'serious RP', but have never actually dabbled, so I don't know how much practical use I'd be, but I'm certainly interested in seeing and hearing more.

I have absolutely zero experience with this kind of gaming but recently we were considering a D&D thing here on TT and I'm very interested-the engrossing, engaging mythos and world just add to the appeal. As a writer I'm very interested in that kind of thing and would totally be on board with this if we wind up doing it.

Also, good to see you around and definitely good to see you here!

Glad to see the positive responses! Yeah I mean I do have some mythos to show so far in the form of graphics....

Well just judging by the slew of gaming fans that are on this forum combined with the latest thread by Karen I'd say the whole D&D with tickling elements would probably go well with most members here.

Holy cow o_o That's, impressive as heck. I mean, I thought I was proud of my OC universe? But you've obviously been working on this for a really, really long time. I'm personally just honored you'd share all this with us.

It looks like an amazing, immense start to some really fun RP gaming though! Count me in! ,o/

As another old fart (and old-time roleplayer) I'm going to strike a negative note. 🙁 I don't see classic tabletop RPGs as being a good vehicle for this sort of thing. It can be done, I suppose, but I don't find myself feeling very enthusiastic about it.

The kind of tickle-roleplaying I'd like to see is a version of the Letter Game. This would involve each player taking the part of a 'lee (or possibly a 'ler) writing letters to the other players describing their own experiences.

Each player-character would be in a different location in the game world, and so would physically interact only with NPCs. The interaction between player-character would be entirely through the letters exchanged. There might be guidelines worked out ahead of time about the background of the game-world, or it might be something that develops purely through the letters.

One drawback of the Letter Game is that it does require some writing skill. Each player has to be able to throw out hundreds of words of letter-writing at the drop of a hat. Like this:

Bey Mustifa

In the East Provence of the Southing Lands.

To My Brother In Friendship: Greetings!

I did go ahead and purchase that darkling wench I mentioned in my last letter. Yes, I know you advised against it, but you always did have a suspicion of pointed ears. If she were a full-blooded elf I might agree with you. She isn't however. In fact, only her grandmother was elven, according to her, and I'm inclined to believe her. In fact, she claims that here dusky complexion comes from that same grandmother, as wild as it may sound. That last may not be true, but she believes it. Of that I am certain. It is difficult for a wench to lie when she is both naked and drunk.

Although why old Kamar gets his wench-stock drunk before selling them is beyond my understanding. It's a kind of boasting, I suppose. It's his way of bragging that he can turn a profit even if the slaves he sells aren't displayed at their best.

In any case, her name is Ranni, and in all I am pleased with her. She stands five feet in height and is still skinny from her transport - boney, to tell the truth - with a weight of less than six stone. Her feet are broad for their length, but you know I do not care about such things. The sensitivity of the soles are what matters. What I find more important about her appearance is her heart-face, with a good nose (not too big) and mouth (not too small) and dark eyes to match her dusky skin. Her breasts are not big, but fine both to look upon and to hold in the hand. And of course, she has that straw-gold hair in contrast, which is how I first came to notice her in old Kamar's pens.

I allowed Ranni to sleep off the wine on her first night, with irons on her ankles (and the connecting chain kept short) just as a precaution. In the morning, I was hearty rather than gentle in washing off the stink and dust of the pens. Some wenches need gentleness at the start, while others take it amiss, and I sensed that Ranni was one of the latter. She did not seem very sensitive as I rinsed her and toweled her dry, but as you know such things can be deceiving. And so it proved in Ranni's case. I bound her hand and foot on the bath tiles, still unclothed, and found that a dab of oil on the heart of each sole worked well upon her. And I thank you again for teaching me that trick.

She squealed and squeaked most delightfully at the touch of my fingers, once the oil had been applied. Especially on her soles, which I appreciated, but the rest of her skin was tickle-sensitive as well. I did examine all of it, but not well as I might have liked. She exhausted herself quickly, with her fighting against the cords. However, that is another side of her bone-showing thinness, and once I have her properly fed, her endurance will return. I am looking forward to that.

With my best wishes for your health and prosperity,
Tamor of the Tan and Black Palace

Well.....all people have different roleplaying goals and methods. Some may actually like the idea of a more straightforward storyline with adventure themes with tickling/fetish stuff as more of that reward at the end of their journey kind of thing. I see it less as "a system specifically for hardcore fetishists" and more of "a system for roleplaying enthusiasts who want more out of their experience with fetish content as a secondary aspect"

Well.....all people have different roleplaying goals and methods.

True, that.

And on further though, if you're looking for mostly "public" tickle (or other fetish) scenes with two or more 'lees and/or two or more 'lers, then I can see how that could work in a table-top game. The "letter game" would be better (IMHO) for one-on-one roleplaying and less good for larger groups.

Given a table-top style game that includes in-gameworld tickle sessions, how much (and in what way) would you want to use crunchy rule mechanics? Depending on a person's "roleplaying goals and methods" one might prefer a purely narrative approch, a simple one-roll rule (e.g. tickle skill vs composure) and then ad-lib from there, or a moderately elaborate system that takes into account various things like discovering weaknesses, breaking composure, tradeoffs between hard and soft tickle implements, and how long a ler can keep a session going before the lee gets "tickled out."

And if you want to go with a more mechanical system, maybe combine it with "tickle mana" and "tickle karma" scores, a system of magic powered by tickle mana, and a "luck" system based on the character's current tickle karma.

alright this is a totally shameless bump and I make no excuse for my actions...

Really right now this whole project of building an entire world is a massive undertaking. I have contact with many artists via DeviantART who are ready to contribute illustrations for the core rulebook but what I need are WRITERS.

I really am going to give plenty of writers a lot of creative freedom. There is so much content yet to be written about races, cultures, kingdoms and the history of the land that I would love to see what people here can do with.

In the end...I want this to be a milestone in the tickling community; the first formalized RP system thats open enough for anyone to run a game in with a enough resource material to be used or ignored totally if people just want to use the game mechanics and ignore the canon.

I feel like this could be a huge accomplishment if we succeed and will be a major milestone in this communities history. Yes I know I used milestone twice....go to hell I'm tired LOL

So thankful for the selfish bump, 'and' prospect of this awesome-sounding game!
Looking forward to seeing the development of such interest, then discovering how I can manipulate things to get my hands on ... whatever, and figure out how to hide it from 'D&D is only of the Devil' family.
Way to go with still existing on this site, by the way, Cheshire! Love watching your artwork, and finding even more on your dA account (in addition to 'equally' interesting article-shares).
