A serious question

I know the answer should be a given, but I still want to know....

Would you rather be,

A- The richest man in the world, but no friends

B- The poorest man in the world, with many friends

I feel that both are equally undesirable. I care much more about friends than money, but still would dislike having no money about as much as having no friends.

This is going to sound really corny, but I will definitely choose B. I have been comfortable with money before, but had no friends, that stank big time, but I have also literally had nothing, with even a few friends. Money can buy things that can make one happy, but without friends to share them with....is it really worth it??

For me, it's an easy choice. B.

I would rather not have a dime to my name and have friends, rather than have a trillion dollars, but no friends

Money is nice to have, don't get me wrong, but it cannot buy love, honor, or friendship. If I had to make a choice between money or friends, for me, it's no contest.

I am willing to bet that there are quite a few billionaires who are truly empty and sad on the inside.

Michael Jackson is a prime example of that. He has all the money in the world, but has no friends. He has fans, who only like people for what they have. He has employees who only want a paycheck. But he has no friends.

Truly, a very depressed and sad man.

I absolutely agree. Friends are one of the greatest treasures of all besides family.

Oh without a doubt! B, this is not enough money in the world to buy true friendship! Or Love for that matter, it is pricless and as Jan said it is free doesn't cost a cent!
