A Tremendous Influence

When I was a kid, I stumbled onto a copy of a neighborhood friend's Dad's smut stash. Amongst the titles was a big book about the "underground" comics of the late 60's/early-mid-70's. The page I now proffer had a tremendous impact on me at a relatively early age. Having picked-up a copy of the book through e-Bay, I can finally present this marvel of tickling illustration to those in the community who might not have otherwise seen it.
Granted, there's no overt tickling going on. It's the inherent threat of it in that last panel of the initial page of Larry Todd's collaborative comic PARANOID from way way back in 1972 that just fucking kills me.

Still my all-time favorite tickling illustration after all these many years:

Pleasure's mine, Bandito! It was quite the revelation for this suburban kid to stumble on this veritable affirmation of my own secret fantasies! Back then due to the scarcity of material, I'd revel in whatever I could get my grubby lil' hands on.

Wow! That was a piece that certainly would have been formative in my youth. I love the little drain beneath her just in case she has any untimely accidents. The bondage position is very nice. I've always been into tickling since I was a kid, but never had anything like that to even give me a remote idea that tickling existed as fetish beyond what I already knew.

Yeah! From really early on, I had a similar fantasy/fear about tickling. Even knowing that one single solitary cartoonist somewhere was willing to play with the concept did me a world of good.

I especially like the way he went about things. He presents it in this overblown bloody dungeon like out of some horror movie. It kinda puts things in a tongue-in-cheek vein...even as he's presenting a rather terrifying scenario for those of us with a tickling fetish.

One of my influences was from a porn mag back when I was in college. I forget the girls name. She was a comic character appearing every week and getting into sexy predicaments.

In the episode that I found "interesting" she was helping at a butchers shop and inadvertently got herself all trussed up like a turkey.

Last scene was of her naked, gagged, with her butt in the air, as the butcher ran some kind of tickling implement down between the crack of her ass.

He he. It still turns me on to think of it - and I last saw the comic in 1983.

It's a long-shot, but I "may" have some panels from the same strip you're referring to, sexygamedesigns. Your description reminds me of a similar one about a ditsy blond U.K.-gal getting into all sorts of shenanigans and crazy capers. I don't recall that particular pic(and I'm sure I would have), but I will try to find the panels of the strip that I managed to save, to see if they seem recognizable.*



It's good to hear that others have their own personal pieces that guided them along the path to tickling freekdom. Please, if you have a certain photo or artwork that served as a sort of sacred item in your possession way back when, I'd be delighted to see it, no matter how silly it might seem to us now(with ten-bazillion clips/images floating around the Interwebs).














*Assuming I can even locate them. My filing-system is nonexistent, basically.
