One of the most oddest things that popped in my head:
can you tickle a person's armpit, if it is hairy?


I read all these wonderful stories about tickling the smooth hairless armpit and having them go nuts, but can you get the same reaction with a hairy armpit?

....Im all squirmy now.....

TIL...It would be just like if you tickled a guys pits. THey'd still be ticklish. HOWEVER, I have noticed that if I shave right before a tickling session, I'm much more sensative. It does make a difference in how ticklish I am...as well as what can be used on me. I've even teased Drew about shaving him before a session to even things out. But, he's so damned ticklish, he doesn't need any help. He'd probably have a heart attack! 😀

One time I tickled a woman who hadn't shaven her pits that day, so she had about one day's growth. By tickling her very lightly there, I drove her out of her mind. She said that her ticklishness was definitely increased due to the stubble, and that she DEFINITELY would have shaven that day if she knew that she would be tickled that evening.

My pits are quite ticklish, and they are of coarse hairy.

I wonder Ann, if part of the increase is sensativity is caused by the act of shaving? The act of dagging a piece of sharpenes steel over your skin (and sensative skin at that), causes tiny cuts in the skin. Most so tiny, you can't see them. And when you damage the skin, blood flow increases to that area as your body attempts to heal it. The effect would be similar to warming someones feet just before tickling them (as mentioned in previous posts)

This is just a theory though.

no, you know what is really gross.... my dog has a yeast infection in her ears!! that is gross. I have to douche my dog in the freaking ears!

but actually, to be on topic, having hairy underarms kinda helps it tickle, for example, if someone just teases the hair of my underarms, it causes a tickle, even if they never really touch my skin, the movement of the hair is enough to cause a tickling sensation.

Why are armpits disgusting when they're not shaved? Just a curious inquiry. Incidentally, I shave my armpits, while my girl doesn't always shave hers. I don't complain. It's just... um... hair. Nothing gross about that. The same stuff grows on the head (and, well, other places). Even if considered gross, I think it would be a pretty bad double-standard to say 'girls with unshaven underarms - gross', unless the people saying it have shaved underarms as well. Same for everyone. And all the guys who haven't shaved their armpits yet can't understand why some women don't want to do it. It's a frigging PAIN, I tell you! And I have to do it every single day, too, or the stubble itches like crazy... Speaking of slight stubble, it's KILLER to be tickled when there's a little stubble! Talk about electric... Another reason for me to shave, shave, SHAVE that evil stubble away! 😀

I never thought of this, but I do not think that hairy armpits would turn me off or away from a tickling opportunity.

Mind you, I prefer tickling feet, so hairy armpits are not a problem for me. 🙂
