a walk in the park (Central Park)

It is technically still winter, although it was 63 degrees and sunny when I left home today to take a walk in the park.

The first photo is the entrance that I used to go into Central Park.

The second photo is an arch that I walked through.

The third photo is a bridge that I walked over.

The fourth photo is one of six softball fields in the southern part of the park.

The fifth photo is the carousel, currently closed for renovations.

The first photo attached to this post is a second arch that I walked though to get further north.

The second photo is The Dairy, which was once a working dairy but is now a visitors' center and gift shop.

The third photo is the ice skating rink, still open on March 14th in spite of the high temperature, 63 degrees. (It is owned by Donald Trump.)

The last part of my walk was around The Pond.

The photos here are literally of "ducks on the pond". 😛

(That is a baseball expression for runners on base, for those who didn't get the joke.)

It's about 2.5 miles long and 0.5 miles wide.

what time were you there on the 14th? I went for a run through there in the morning. It would have been so cool to randomly see you on your walk. I run into NY TMF posters in the most obscure places.
