Why is it that sometimes when you play a vid clip using winamp that the picture will freeze but the sound keeps going? Is there any way to fix this?

If it only happens in Winamp, it's probably a compatibility problem. If it happens in every player including Windows Media Player, it's usually an incomplete or corrupted download. I personally find Windows Media Player to be the best for playing back Windows file formats, though Real Player (yuck) and Apple Quicktime can also be used.

It only happens in Winamp with only certain vids. Weird.

Not that weird; Winamp is a bit... fidgety with vids.
I believe it relies on a fixed set of internal codecs, as opposed to most other progs that use the actual installed codecs.

I would either suggest Media Player Classic or Videolan over Winamp.

you can fix it, just click on another prtion of the vid and click back to the messed up portion, it should play fine. it's like a hick up.
