I heard today that actress Valerie Harper, best known for her role of playing neighbor Rhoda Morgenstern on the TV shows "Mary Tyler Moore", and "Rhoda" has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Ms Harper, a wonderful veteran actress of stage and TV, is 73 years old.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ms Harper and her family.
