Add a technical Help Section

It would be nice to have a technical help section in the Forum, where members could ask and receive technical help solving their problems. I have a DVD RW disk and would like to burn my assorted files so I don't have to keep them on hard disk. I am not able to do this easily with the software that I have, it's called 'Nero'. It only accepts certain types of files. Does anyone have software or any suggestions to help with this problem?

Sorry to ask a patronising question, but it does sometimes help - you do actually have a DVD-RW drive? Note that DVD+RW is different from DVD-RW, so make sure your drive and disk are compatible. If so, could you list the steps you take to use Nero? I'm not up to speed on rewritable DVDs, but can these be formatted like CD-RWs so that they effectively become giant floppy disks, which lets you drag files across without using a burning program? Nero used to come with such a formatter called InCD - check to see if you have it.

Paint shop pro allows you to convert files if you have that program. Buy the way what types of files can you burn , I will try to find what programs can convert them.

You have a DVD RW unit, isn't it?, well does that unit burns cd too, or only dvd?. I've backed up all my tickling stuff in cds using nero too, but i have cd rw burner instead of dvd rw burner.
