She worked her way down Tifa’s side with the feather, moving torturously slow down her hip until she reached the exposed part of Tifa’s leg. She brushed the golden feather back and forth, up and down, each time sending waves of stifled giggles through her captor. She swirled the feather daintily around Tifa’s knee, using the tip to trace patterns across it. Tifa bent her knees in protest as she began to laugh harder.
“Ah, none of that now dear Tifa,” Ara said teasingly as she mounted Tifa’s leg and faced her feet. She used her weight to hold Tifa’s leg down so she could no longer bend it. She took the feather and slid it under Tifa’s knee, sawing back and forth and tickling the tender sensitive underside. She twirled the feather as she moved forcing insane squirming and laughter from her tickle toy. But Ara wasn’t getting a reaction that satisfied her. As she moved the feather faster, she used her free hand to grab Tifa’s upper leg forcefully, squeezing and tickling it with furious motions. Tifa’s eyes bulged again with the sudden attack and she let out a loud scream followed by insane laughter. She bucked and tried to throw Ara off but the girl had her leg pinned tight. As the torture continued all Tifa could do was thrash and throw her head about while she laughed uncontrollably.
“There we go! Laugh Tifa! Laugh!” Ara yelled as she increased her speed.
“AHAHAHAHAH! STOHAHAHAHAHAH!!” Tifa howled as she tossed her body as much as the restraints would allow. The torture was so intense that she began to slip away from reality. Just as she seemed to be losing consciousness, Ara stopped.
Tifa could no longer spit words at Ara, for all she could do was lie still, gasp for air, and await the next ticklish onslaught. Sweat was beading all over her body as her chest heaved more than ever.
“Aw, poor little Tifa. You look so hot from all this,” Ara said with a wily look in her eye. She grinned. “Let’s make you a little more comfortable.”
Ara rose from her position and walked slowly towards Tifa’s feet, letting Tifa absorb what was about to come. She crouched down by Tifa’s left foot and looked at it like a child looks at a toy. She unbuckled the boot and pulled it off slowly, taking care to let the back of the boot graze Tifa’s bare sole as she removed it. She tossed it aside and brought the feather up.
“Ready?” Ara said as she smiled. Tifa’s eyes widened in horror.
Ara took the tip of the feather and placed it at Tifa’s bare heel, dragging it slowly upwards across her sole, stopping just before her dainty toes. She drew figure eights around the ball of Tifa’s foot for awhile while Tifa screamed uncontrollably. She then traced the arch of her foot back down to the heel and began the whole process again. Tifa screamed and screamed as she tried to move her exposed foot away from the torturous feather, but she could not escape.
Ara moved back to the ball of Tifa’s foot then continued up to her toes. She started by dragging the feather underneath each of them, back and forth slowly. Then she changed to the tops of her toes, swirling the tops of each one with a slow rhythm. Tifa was in hysterics, her laughter echoing amongst the trees for miles.
“NO! NO! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH! STOHAHAHAHAHAH!!”
Ara changed again, this time sawing and spinning quickly between Tifa’s toes. Tifa scrunched her feet as the feather ran between them, prompting Ara to rake her nails swiftly against Tifa’s sole. Tifa felt shockwaves go through her with the sudden sensation on her foot and her toes spread as far as they could while she screamed. Ara resumed tickling between Tifa’s toes until she scrunched them again. Then it was another attack on her sole and the toe-tickling resumed.
Tears were streaming down Tifa’s face as her foot was tickled relentlessly, she kicked and scrunched her feet but no matter what she did Ara tickled her back into the position she wanted. It became too much for Tifa and she felt consciousness slipping away again. The last thing she saw before she blacked out was a sweep of red from the trees and a stifled yell from Ara.
When she awoke she was lying beside a placid blue lake.
“Glad to see your okay,” came the husky voice of a familiar friend.
Tifa looked to her side to see Vincent standing in the dim glow.
“What...” Tifa spoke hoarsly.
“I had just been speaking to Cloud at this very spot when I heard your cries. I followed them right to you luckily, then stopped that girl and brought you here.”
Tifa’s eyes widened.
“Vincent, she was being controlled! Did you...” Tifa said with panic in her voice. Vincent silently shook his head.
“I brought her to safety with the rest of the children.”
Tifa breathed a sigh of relief. As bad as Ara’s torture was, she was still an innocent person.
“Vincent, where is Cloud?”
“Edge. The final battle is beginning.”
They looked at each other and smiled.
“Just like old times, eh?” Tifa said as she began to walk out of the forest. Vincent swooped behind her as they headed for home.
“Cloud.”
He knew that voice. He knew that blade. Sephiroth had returned.
The blades pushed off one another and Cloud readied his stance. Sephiroth grinned at his opponent and shifted his blade.
Footsteps thundered across the metal battle ground as Cloud and Sephiroth charged at one another, their blades meeting with a flash of sparks and a clang of steel. Back and forth they exchanged blows, each one driving Cloud back as he desperately defended himself. Sephiroth was still grinning as he swiped his massive blade at Cloud’s chest. Cloud ducked instinctively and thrust back at the enemy, his blade grinding against Sephiroth’s as he attacked. They both leapt into the air swinging madly at one another, raining sparks upon the ground as they rose.
The battle raged for what seemed like hours. Rain had begun to fall and Cloud could see that Sephiroth wasn’t tiring. He had to end this now.
Cloud leapt into the air, throwing his sword high above his head as they split into eight individual weapons. Sephiroth followed, but was stopped short. Cloud flashed to each of his swords, bringing them through his opponent too quickly to block. Slash after slash penetrated Sephiroth until he was standing back on the ground. Cloud grasped the final sword and sped downward, ready to land the killing blow. But just as he was a foot from Sephiroth, he felt...strange.
He was suspended in the air, his sword still at half swing when he noticed another blade.
The smile was back on Sephiroth’s face. Cloud looked down and saw the enormous katana piercing his chest. His blood leaked down it as he felt the cold sting of steel inside him. He looked at Sephiroth.
“Just like Aeris...” Sephiroth muttered, and he flung Cloud off his blade and onto the ground.
Sephiroth loomed above him and he brought his sword high above his head.
“Send her my regards.”
He slashed the blade clean through Cloud’s heart, just as Tifa reached the top of the structure they had fought on.
Her mouth fell open in disbelief.
“CLOUD!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!” she screamed with all her heart and soul. She fell to her knees as Cloud lay back and died.
“This can’t be! Not you Cloud,” she muttered quietly, tears in her eyes.
Sephiroth turned and wiped his blade, dismissing Tifa’s presence. She began to shake with intense anger.
“You think I’m not a threat? You think I don’t want to save the planet?! YOU THINK I CAN’T KILL YOU?!?!” Tifa screamed as she rose to her feet. Her eyes burned with the rage of every warrior Sephiroth had slain.
The materia in Tifa’s arm emanated a crimson glow as her eyes bore into her opponent. She pulled back into the fighting stance she had assumed so many times in this struggle, and executed Final Heaven.
--there ya have it folks. changed the ending a little there, cause i got the request to kill Cloud and thought, "what if...". hope you all enjoyed it.
