I'm not really seeking advice on how to be one, you understand, but mostly seeking advice on recipies or dishes anyone here has had that they liked or (better yet) loved that you'd share.

I have been kind of slowly becoming disenchanted with meat. I pretty much can't stand the taste of pork products anymore and I was barely able to finish a T-bone steak a few weeks ago. It's just starting to all feel and taste so greasy and repulsive that sometimes even the scent of certain types of meat cooking makes me want to retch!

I don't really know how all of this will play out in the end but it has been growing and mounting since the beginning of this year, so if if this is a phase, then it's the longest phase I have ever been through. I still like eating some types of meat but I don't even know how long that will last.

If there is a particular vegetarian entree you enjoy, please share it...Hell, if there is anyone who has a good veg-meat concoction, feel free to share that too. You never know when I might wish to fall back to "poser mode."

I don't know if you like Indian food, but I'm not a fan of veggies,
and I've eaten vegetarian Indian food dozens of times without
even knowing exactly what I was eating. Might want to try it.

Salad and more salad, just change up the dressing every once in a while.

Good thread topic. I don't eat much red meat at all, and I try to do vegetarian 2-3 nights a week just for health.

I'm not going to put whole recipes in here or anything, most I got off allrecipes.com. But some of my favorites have been spiced quinoa, quinoa pilaf, soupe au pistou, butternut squash and pear soup (which can also be drank cold as a smoothie), and lots of stir fry that I like over cous cous or whichever really. Indian/middle eastern is usually tasty and easy too, I tend to put curry and turmeric on a lot of non-starchy vegetables.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for myself too.
