the great Paul Newman died...he was 83..one of the more versatile actors i thought, although at times he seemed to play the same character, just different movies..my favorite movie was "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and "Hud" ...in Hud he was mean..non caring..he and his wife JoAnn Woodward managed to stay married all those years, despite i'm sure many temptations..he was quite handsome, and she was lovely i thought..

Rest In Peace Paul...

yeah, seems these past 5 years, lengedary people keep kicking the buckett. it's real sad.

never saw any of Paul's movies, but his salad dressing was just awesome.

Damn. All the greats are starting to disappear.

True but just as a phoenix rises from the ashes, so does the legacy of actors pass on from one generation to the next. ^_^

Steve Irwin, Jeremy Beadle, Isaac Hayes, now Paul Newman too. It's tragic. 🙁 Screw incest, DEATH should be illegal.

the hollywood brother only seen a few of his movies but he seemed to be a good actor

I ain't worthy, but I hope that when I go, it's to whatever place people like Mr. Newman go.

Big loss...great skills, and didn't seem all caught up in the morass of Hollyweird. Too bad others out there don't follow his and his wife (Joanne Woodward)'s example
