the leading local candidate for Magistrate in our fair city was arrested Monday for possession of crack, with intent to sell...and get this...she had been endorsed by the local police...now that is too funny...as Magistrate, she would have heard these same types of cases...

on another note...a female tried to arrest Carl Rove at a dinner..a citizen's arrest...it reminded me of that episode of "The Andy Griffith Show" in which Gomer kept yelling..."Citizen's arrest, citizen's arrest.." and if we have the right to initiate a citizen's arrest, why was she arrested?

We had something similar here when a county official in the county next to use was busted for growing pot in his basement.

On what 'charges' did she try to arrest Mr. Rove on? Sounds to me like someone was trying to be a publicity hound and create more tension about the election (as if we really needed anything more...)
