Honestly, the second AI came into fruition, the battle was already over. There was a female deviantart creator I had been following because I liked what she put out, but all her stuff is AI generated with tweaking.
Between a couple days ago and yesterday, she put out over 100 "creations". Human artists CANNOT keep up with that. Furthermore, as I was looking through the AI generated art, some of it seemed reminiscent of the styles of some tickle artists I follow. Once I realized that I immediately unfollowed her and will not be going back.
Point is though, the battles already over. You think corporations want to spend thousands of dollars to pay for artists and graphic designers to create stuff for them when anyone with two hands and a keyboard can generate AI artwork? It's all downhill from here
Well, that's what I wrote myself.
No human artist can hope to keep up.
Corps need to flood the socials and streaming platforms with contents.
They need to keep cranking out shows, so people will keep paying.
Hasbro has made it clear they'll bleed the old D&D modules dry.
Rehashing it to create more and more to keep their services afloat.
AI is a great tool from their point of view.
Artists using various tools and apps to assist themselves basically fed the AI all along.
Maybe somebody will still pay for "actual" art, made on paper with pencil and paper.
That's how I draw, incidentally.
But I had people heckle me because my art is crude, by comparison, and pointed me to app-smoothed art I should copy from.
I could not be bothered.
So, I'm posting both.
All of it.
My own scribbles, my videos shot with actual people, AI generated contents.
Keep the people busy, make the algorithm happy.
