I had said in a prior thread on that I consider AI-generated images not truly art.
AI-generated images take fragments of already existing images and merge them together into a new image, which is not unlike taking stickers, decals, newspaper clippings, and photographs and merging them together to make a scrapbook. Hence, I would call generating AI images a "craft" rather than "art". We can agree to disagree.
That being said, and to show I hold no ill will to the "AI is art" crowd, I decided to experiment with a free AI-image generator. With careful crafting of prompts, and some post production editing, I cobbled together two scenes out of my twisted love of tickling cowboys, which are uploaded here. Enjoy.
I'm liking this. I'm not a convert, yet, but I'm having fun deciding where I want to go with AI.
