That's literally it. You don't need 50 spaces in the URL.

Please stop it.

Correct. And that way, your browser knows what to do with the copy+paste. No need to add anything back in.

Alternatively, I wish someone with admin privileges would work out how to include something like tinyurl into posting options. It would simply mask the click-through traffic, and solve everything.

All I do is uncheck the box where it says "Automatically parse links in text."

One or two spaces is not safe enough. There must be at least three of them.

Two spaces, one question mark, one more space, seven dots and a pair of tildes. Oh, and a smiley, just to keep it joyful!

I seriously can't believe you made a thread out of this.

THANK YOU. We should make this a sticky. And let's not joke about it, guys. For those who don't get it, try deleting 5 random spaces in a url on an iPad.

C'mon guys, let's not be so harsh! This is a fetish forum, and I'm sure there are space-bar fetishists here as well 😉

I never bought into the fact that any spaces are needed. I think it's crap.

It's not. If you look underneath a video on youtube there is a statistics tab which can show where a surge in views came from, clicking on a link on this website would flag that up. Would make mainstream clips more likely to be removed by the uploader who could be weirded out by it.

Really don't know why this has to be such a big deal though.

Ive been saying this for years. The spaces are so effing annoying. Especially when morons use more than one space.

I did not know that. But I don't see where it tells where the traffic is coming from. Is it only visible to the uploader? And why would some dude posting the north to Alaska scene be weirded out by people clicking from here?

There is a stats icon underneath the video. Its less about clips from movies/tv and more about clips filmed by your average Joe/Jane.
