Allen Iverson......

what does anyone think of Iverson? i mean, the guy has always been a thug, never changed that image, but yet he keeps getting second chances. in year 2001, all this attention surrounded his "heart". articles went on and on and on about how this little guy has such a big heart, leading his woe-be-gone Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA finals against the big evil nasty LA Lakers. he cried like a girl when Tyron Lue shut him down, i got sick and tired of all these women say he is SO FINE, when they know he is a THUG.

so know, Mr. "FINE" went about town looking for his wife who he threw out the house, showing a gun and making threats. real man huh? a man with heart huh? i would be shocked if Reebok continued to endorse him, and he just might get released from the 76ers. sad thing is, someone will endorse this guy, and someone downtrodden franchise will give this guy a contract because he can play ball. how many chances does this guy get? he has had problems for YEARS, even before he made the NBA. he refuses to get rid of his "homies", although they are less than "honorable". he made a rap CD that had controversy. now this.

so, does anyone have an opinion on this? plus, a question for women readers, WHY oh WHY do women think "thugs" are cute and want to get involved with them???? i never could figure that out....

Timing...

People like this are "shooting stars"...they burn so brightly and pretty that they are showered with attention, second chances and a special consideration that most humans will never know...but, just as all bright shiny things, they will fade to black in a shorter time then any of them ever believe possible...hope this young man finds a way not to crash and burn before his light dims. It's so sad when stars burn out and decay....but inevitable. Q
