Alright, actually thought on this a bit. Heres my semi-educated answer:
In the perfect world theres no actuall concept of normal. But then, in the perfect world there wouldn't be violence, hate, and all of that crazy stuff. Clearly this isnt the perfect world. The term normal doesn't necessarily mean that something is right, just that its common. For example, its more common that men are turned on by large breasts on women, so its generally accepted. Tickling isn't generally as popular, hence people find it odd and will *More than likely* try to ignore the problem all together. Its human nature, though, so don't blame or hate anyone for it; absolutely no one thinks with a fully open mind, there will always be some type of prejudice. Not going into human nature though. Back to the subject at hand.
At any rate, no, one here is exactly normal. I believe someone gave a number of 20,000 people on this forum? That, you have to realize, is a very small percentage of people in the united states, let alone the rest of the civilized world. Yes, that number can both be considered only a small percentage of those into tickling, both because of possibly not knowing the site and also people not being very open on the subject of tickling with themselves. But you have to realize that this remains true for everything else, so we really are a minority still.
My personal advice is to just deal with things as they come. Do what you thinks best, and try not to be persuaded by others. Honestly, there are people who hate those that are different than themselves and will do harm to them because of this (look at the KKK, the nazi's, etc.). Not saying don't be open with it; just be careful, and think things through for yourself. Don't necessarily rely on my opinion, or anyone elses, but use it more as a guide, ya know? Something intelligent sounding, like.. 'Only a fool listens fully to the advice of others, not thinking for themselves; and only a fool will completly ignore anothers advice.' Etc.
Kinda hope everyone reads this, listens to it, etc. but eh, its not gonna happen. At any rate, good luck with it ^^.
