I've seen a lot of those photos on Reddit. My favorites probably have to be the Austrian boy getting new shoes during WW2 and the mother selling her kids in Chicago. Here are a few more :

Some incredibly powerful images in that collection. The ones that stand out for me are: The final prisoners leaving Alcatraz, and the mother with a gas-proof pram from 1938. But every image is unique and really does capture the moment.
