I was browsing deviant art and I stumbled upon an artist whose work impressed me. I saw that he accepted commissions. I sent him a request for a color commission and he gladly accepted. His commission details are listed on his deviant art page.
If you provide a detailed description he will do his best to match the description providing constant communication and feedback as to the progress of the commission. He also provides low resolutions of the image as the work progresses for you to approve the progress and make any changes you feel are necessary. I provided him with a description from my sailor moon fan fiction and he nailed the image on the first attempt!
The artist is balancing college and his art work so the time needed for the commission will vary, however, the end result is worth the wait. My commission will take less than 2 weeks. He completed my commission of Sailor Venus on 3/26/09. He takes pride in his work and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.
