The Good Guys embarked on their first road trip of the year. Things didnt go well in New York, as Charlize Theron was hit for nine runs in less than three innings, in an opening game blowout loss against the Mets. The Good Guys did manage to salvage one game of that series, behind a fine effort from Kate Hudson. The team then traveled to Atlanta, where they lost two out of three again, before winning two of three in Houston. They returned home on a Sunday night to begin a homestand against teams from the center of the country. Monday was an off day, as the tired team tried to just take it easy and distance themselves from baseball. Jennifer Love Hewitt opened the homestand against Pittsburgh on Tuesday night, and pitched well, allowing three runs into the seventh, in an eventual 5-3 Good Guys win. Charlize Theron went to the mound on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone was rooting for her to have a good game after the three butt kickings she had received. Charlize gave a decent effort for the first time all year, pitching six innings and allowing but one run, in a 4-1 Paradise Island triumph. Kate Hudson capped the series on Thursday, and pitched a fine game, striking out eight in six innings, and allowing only two runs, as the Paradise Islanders prevailed 5-2. The sweep was a good way to start the homestand, and the team wanted to build on it.
The Chicago Cubs came to town for the weekend. On a beautiful Friday evening in front of almost 40,000, the Good Guys hit five homeruns, and Gil Bellows allowed two runs in eight innings, in a comfortable 7-3 Good Guy triumph. Neve Campbell went to the hill on Saturday night, with an even larger crowd on hand, but could not emerge victorious, as the Good Guys were shut out, 5-0, as Neve had a poor outing. Jennifer Love Hewitt capped the Cub series on Sunday before a near sellout. Unfortunately, the day didnt turn out well as Love gave up six runs in two innings in a 6-1 loss. Two blowout losses in a row were not good, and the team needed to turn it around in the final series of the homestand.
St Louis arrived in Paradise on Monday night. Charlize Theron was given the ball, and this time was dominant, striking out 12 in eight innings of a 4-0 Good Guy victory. Kate Hudson followed Charlize to the mound on Tuesday night, and performed very well, fanning ten batters in seven innings while allowing but one run, in a 3-1 Paradise win. Gil Bellows would try to finish the homestand on a high note on Wednesday afternoon. In front of a matinee sellout, Gil allowed just one hit over eight innings, and struck out 13, as the Good Guy scratched a run out in the eighth, and Mandy was perfect in the ninth, as the Good Guys squeezed a 1-0 victory. The team had finished the homestand with seven wins and two losses, in spite of the two blowouts against the Cubs. It had been a fine homestand after a rough beginning to the season, and hopefully, the ship was being righted.
The Saturday night tickle party was held at the fetish club. That night, the tickling was to be a bit different. Instead of being tickled on beds set up in the middle of the club floor, the lees would be both on beds inside a cage, and chained to the floor in a cage, with the lers entering and tickling them both in the bed, and on the floor. Then, one of the actresses who her character had humilated during her guest appearance entered the cage. "Hi there, Caroline, your character was such a bitch when you did the TV show with us, that we decided it was time to see how tough you really are, and that you need to be punished. You were an abusive witch, and now you will pay!" A lump formed in Caroline's throat:" It was my job, I didnt mean to be abusive. I was just trying to make a living. Please, I know what's going to be done to me, and this is tickle team from Paradise Island. I cant stand to be tickled. I might wet myself if someone does that to me" Caroline begged.
