Anaheim Angels win the AL Pennant!

Does anyone else think they will, or can, win the World Series, besides me?

Of course they can win the World Series. Very few people thought they could beat the Yankees in the first round, but they did, in convincing fashion.

I am inclined to root for them in the World Series in any case, as their mangaer is former Dodger Mike Scioscia, and one of their coaches is former Dodger Mickey Hatcher. (Both were heroes of the 1988 World Championship season for the Dodgers, for those of you not old enough to remember.)

If the Angels are up against the hated jints, as now seems likely, then I will be rooting for them with enthusiasm.

I have to say as a devoted Yankees fan I enjoy watching their enthusiam in play. They look mighty hungry this Angels team. I am not a bad sport and when I see an excellent team I say it. So with that in mind even though they beat my beloved Yanks I say go Angels!

Yes, mila, it was a real treat to see them beat the Yanks. Funny how this team has two key members of a former champion that's right next door. I don't really like the Giants, either, but I think it will be a good World Series nonetheless. Go s!

I know I'm a local boy, but I honestly believe this Angels team deserves to win it all. As for Bonds, well, he's a superstar athlete who hits a lot of home runs, among other things, so let's just leave it at that. 🙂
