I haven't bought a video clip in months. Even the best producers --- it seems all the same now. Some producers even seem to have peaked already and aren't producing vids of the same excitement level that they were, say, even a year ago. Frankly, I'm bored with the new material. Is anyone else feeling like things are stagnant or getting that way fast?

There HAS to be someone willing/creative enough to take things to the next level. Input?

I 100% agree wendynpeter. I havent bought a single clip in months, nearly a year. Its all the same boring drab that I can download clips from 5 years ago and get the same content, sometimes the same girls and etc, etc, etc.

I think the creative minds are no longer being creative because where as a few years ago there were relatively a few companies competing with each other, now there is a GLUT of companies re-hashing tickling clips from years past just with diffrent faces and a few diffrent places.

Originality is out the window as are most of these companies. Im looking forward more to reading now that BAC is back on the scene, and there are several other artists that are doing comics and such that TO ME are far more interesting and worth spending my money on than what the video compaines are producing.

And far be it to ATTEMPT to suggest or constructively critice a company, they and a few of their buddies will gang up and make you feel like a fool to question their videos/models/company. They all give the same answers and granted, its their perogative, but you know sometimes when your a public company your going to run into someone who HAS a legitmate complaint and perhaps has a good idea, but instead more time is spent defending what they dont like to turn it back on them to make them look like they have no taste instead of MAYBE listening and perhaps maybe a conversation can occur instead of a name-bashing contest.

The sample clips offered are horrid and barely long enough to make any kind of judgement. I download a 45 sec to 1 minute clip, where the first 7 seconds and the last 8 seconds are advertising so you get maybe 30-45 seconds to judge a clip. How am I supposed to justify a judgement to spend my cash on a video when all I have to judge is 30-45 seconds of material?

Now unfortuantely with this its all dollar driven and not customer oriented. After all who is really going to go bat and such out loud in the public about such things. Probally not too many people would.

WOW....I guess I vented a little too much.
But Ive had it on my chest for a while now and thanks for starting this thread. Perhaps I need to go to the video review section and post this.
I dont know how many would see it here.

Great thread....
Thanks

Rob makes some good points....

However in my opinion, TRULY ticklish ladies are so rare in tickle media nowadays that I still buy the clips of really ticklish ladies when I find them, if there are other aspects of the clip that also appeal to me.....too many folks feel that a "naked marginally ticklish screeching screaming hottie" is an adequate substitute for a truly ticklish lady with a great laugh......

on the subject of creativity and complaints.....I have a a growing collection of privately made tickle media where I am experimenting with what I think are some innovative tickling tecniques with some some very ticklish (in my opinion) lady friends.....

And while there has been small talk and pondering among my friends about a tickle clip website, my media will probably never be featured in the tickle community.....why?....

The vast ocean of complainers in our community whose sole contribution to the TMF consists of downloading free tickle clips and complaining :ranty: about the lack of their personal preferences in the tickle clips....they are easy to identify....the majority of their TMF posts are the lodging of complaints regarding the lack of tickle media that suit their particular tastes.....

"CONSTRUCTIVE" advice and criticism (such as suggestions about tickle tecniques, lighting, or sound quality, or perhaps a "too talkative tickler" 😛 ) would be welcome by me, and I think many producers around here may appreciate those comments if presented respectfully and "tastefully", but the constant barrage of people complaining that the model wasn't "tickled in nylons", or not tickled on some personally preferred part of the anatomy, or tickled not as agressively or intensely as personally preferred, to me gets pretty old, and would quickly end my desire to make commercial clips, particularly if my commercial tickle website was not a huge moneymaking enterprise....everyone here has a different style and individual preference....is it the tickle producers responsibility to cater to each individual personal request on every tickle clip? Many companies make custom tickle clips that may offer your personally preferred option.... :illogical

I have taken the suggestion heard often...that "if you don't see what you like, shut up and do it yourself "....so I do, and I get to hear some pretty wonderful ticklish laughter all I want, to my hearts content 🙄 .....privately, and without having to make complaints, or hear complaints about the lack of individual personal preferences from anyone else..... 🙂

Rob, this is an excellent point, in my opinion. To me, BAC's work is hotter than ANY clip I've ever seen, because (to me) it's much closer to what goes on in my head when I think about fantasy tickling scenes. BAC captures the erotic elements of tickling, the sexual elements -- For example, in "Wok, Don't Run," the way BAC handles the tickle torture "victim's" discovery of the purely erotic value of the experience, gets wildly turned on, and begs for (and gets) sexual release... wow. THAT's hot. It's all in the subtext, and that's what the vast majority of video tickling clips miss.

Of course, trying to recreate on video what BAC does in his drawings won't work for low or even medium budget productions, and even then probably would still come off as cheesy. But period costumes and props aren't vital to the enterprise. What IS vital to the enterprise is an overt erotic/sexual chemistry between the dominant and the submissive. I think the vid producers have focused WAY too much on creating a certain distance between the participants because (for lack of a better way to put it) they believe that the majority of males who form their market base get uncomfortable or even abstractly jealous watching a woman being tickled by a male, making it harder for them to substitute themselves for the tickler in their minds. But at this point, I think that's untrue, if it was true in the infancy period of tickling video production.

I think maybe the vid producers could learn a lesson from BAC's treatment of the fetish, because his art is classic and is as hot today as it was years ago.

Is everyone going to agree? Of course not. There will always be the "I don't like nudity, I don't like sex, I don't like men in videos" folks. But those aren't the people who loved BAC's work and considered them to be masterworks of fetish art. And given BAC's popularity today, I'd say that producing work for BAC's audience would surely be a safe bet financially.

My two cents.

Good discussion so far, I wish a few more people would offer their opinions.
I can agree with Jaba, most of time I dont see what I like I create it for myself.
If I find something I like..which is rare..Ill buy it, but not everyone has the same tastes nor do I think a company has to specifically cater to me.
Although the "personal video" is always a route. Save up the money, contact a company and many will do you the video the way youd like and you could keep it forever.

And yes many that complain dont contribute to the forum, but they do buy a lot of clips. So though they dont post here often or at all, they do put money into the community as a whole. But still there are those that just get the freebies and even complain about that.

But all in all I think this is a good conversation and I look forward to see if anyone else responds.

Rob

One recent innovation which I see Marcus B and TIB doing (just seen this on Rajees - Tara and Julia clips in the vidclip section) is video interviewing the ladies/models on their views on Tickling. I don't know about anyone else but I find that really erotic.

to me it is 80% of clips are all foot tickling
and i hate foot tickling clips
i want more upperbody tickling
more f/f clips
and no screaming please
that me done :cool2:
