Anecdotes From Work!!

Okay I thought this was funny so I wanted to share it with you guys and invite everyone to share humorous work related stories of their own. So anywhoooo, I work in a warehouse (company policy prohibits me saying who I work for online) and as such, ya gotta make your own entertainment. I'm head of my department, sort of an assistant manager if you will, but I still work alongside my lackeys er...co-workers (I call them my squadmates lol) because sitting at my desk bores me and it makes me look like not so much of a task master. Well anyway, I'm working with my pal jeff on thursday night and I go "dude, follow my lead" and I start whistling "whistle while you work" well he starts doing it right along with me, so I figure this'd be hysterical if I could get the whole department (there's six of us) doing it. I encourage the rest of my mates to start up and everyone thinks its relatively amusing so they do. So for about ten minutes I have the whole department whistling "whistle while you work" in tandem. Well about that time my supervisor stops by to see how were holding up, and he gets the WEIRDEST look on his face, shakes his head, starts laughing and walks away. We all got a good laugh out of it at the start up meeting the next day. So c'mon anybody! Anyone else ever done anything funny like that at work?

This isn't as good, but yesterday, at work(duh), I was doing what's called "fronting" the shelves, which simply means bringing the product to the front so that people can more easily purchase it.

Anyway, a lady, her hubby, and their kid in the shopping cart come toodling by, and she suddenly yells "Sit!"(at the kid). I dropped down to the floor in an instant while quietly saying "Okay".

Haha that is awesome. Ya gotta listen when they break out the mom/dad voice man! Otherwise you'll get grounded...
