My fave anime so far is actually...well, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, of course. I like how the spells casted and some of the other animation have an anime look to them. And the battles are what I think DBZ should've been...not just standing around for five minutes telling each other how bad you are before spending ten minutes getting ready to attack....He-Man doesn't waiste time ...he gets right down to business, kickin butt. And unlike DBZ, even the most powerful warrior in the universe needs to be helped out sometimes, like when Evil-Lynn casted a hypnotic spell on He-Man in the episode "Siren's Song". He was about to step into lava until Ramm Man knocked a tree down on top of the evil (yet extremly sexy in the comic book. lol) lady.
I found it hilarious that He-Man needed to be saved by a guy who, when Orko made him disappear during a magic trick, took three days to find himself. lol
Oh by the way....the "he-MAN!" chant is back ,...it's now on the new show's intro....as well as Adam saying "BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!" in the intro. cool. I hope they eventually mix the new rock music with the music of the original show.
Although I'm disappointed with one thing about the new show's new intro: like one person on he-man.org said, " I really thought Adam was gonna get to finish the speech this time.." lol
DAMN YOU SKELETOR,FOR INTERUPTING MY SPEECH! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR CONFUSING THE KIDS NEW TO WATCHING M.O.T.U., DARNIT!!
