Annoying Thread Display...

Is there any way to change that annoying little box at the top of every thread that displays all the posts. Its so annoying; I just want to be able to click on someone's reply and have the entire thread showing not just one post.

"Annoying little box?" Do you refer to the box with "User CP," "FAQ," "Members List," a message about when you last visited and how many PMs you have? If so no, you cannot remove that. It is part of the TMF layout and can't be removed by individual members.

Or do you mean some other "box?"

Do you mean the display that shows how many pages there are on a thread?I'm sure there is no way that could be changed.

I mean the box right above the first post of the thread. It looks something like

Ah, that. Look to the right on a thread, any thread, and find a link labeled "Display Modes" just above the "annoying box." Click it once and select "Switch to Linear Mode" (You should have Hybrid selected). That should fix it. You may also want to go to the following link, http://www.ticklingforum.com/profile.php?do=editoptions and under "Thread Display Mode" select "Linear - Oldest First".
