Another find on Moe. Enjoy!

Hiro. M is a great artist. Its a shame he isn't that active. That could be an old picture.

It might not be him, and this was discussed on the ATF, where they found this pic some time ago, but no one could decide. It's still an excellent pic, however.😀

I don't see why theres any talk at all. This is Hiro. M's work. Theres distinct things about it that give it away. Unless of course theres someone copying him for whatever reason. In which case I disagree with that, but at the same time he/she is a talent in their own right. And if this is someone else's work they should take on their own style in order to avoid a mishap of mistaken identities and credit/copyrights.

I'll agree that this matches his style with almost complete precision, but he hasn't been seen in years, and no one remembers seeing this on his old site. But hey, maybe a miracle has happened, and Hiro M. has returned.

Its either that or this is a previously unseen picture that has been on the net the entire time but wasn't found until recently. I'm leaning more towards it being an old picture. If he is back however, thats excellent news.

I miss him...

I was actually a good friend of Hiro.M's back when I first joined the tickling community in the early 90s. At that point in time tickling anime was very rare and after discovering that classic japanese tickling art site "Kusuguru No Yakata" and then his own page afterwords, I began corresponding with him regularly about his artwork. I even chatted with him once on the old IRC chat service. Actually that one fanpic he did of Mihoshi having her feet tickled was a request I had made to him.

But one day an e-mail I sent came back to me saying the address was unknown or incorrect. That was the last time I ever heard from him. He was quite a funny individual, even though he spoke very poor english....

his old website wsa the first anime tickling web page i came across.

Thats good to know. To know that he wasn't a recluse like some artists seem to be or have been in the past. Its like they post one or two pictures and you never hear from them again or they aren't the type to talk at all so you know nothing about them and only know them through their art.

Thats what makes this so hard in a way. He was a mainstay in the community and he's left big shoes to fill (no pun intended).

I also found Kusuguru No Yakata first; intially before I joined the community in respects to anime at least. It was Hiro. M's artwork however that drew me into the genre of anime tickling itself. Although I don't want to give him too much credit. I was new to the whole thing so any art might have been enough. Though I have high standards sometimes, standards which his art more than exceeded at the time, so I doubt that would have been true in retrospect.

He must have had/has a good reason for not staying active or in touch. Life is demanding afterall.

Kusuguri no Yakata also was one of the first places I encountered anime tickling as well. This was probably around the same time that Cheshire Cat was talking about. Good site, still there (albeit somewhat broken and, of course, completely static😉).

Speaking of that site... Anyone know what Chad Pet's been up to?

Cheers. 😉

No, I don't know what happened to him. Since we're talking about artists now does anyone know what happened to....whats his name...Sol or something like that. You can find his artwork at various places. Its not anime style but its really good. Last time I heard and saw, he decided to stop drawing this stuff and leave forever for religious reasons. I think theres even a religious forum he created as a replacement for his site.

And "cheers"? I wasn't talking about you silly, even in comparison. 😛 It was more of a generalization, since alot of artists have drawn a picture and either never followed up or never said a word. Their work was just there and they were gone.

Kusuguru No Yakata.....Wow....That brings back a LOT of memories.. I still remember getting home from school to go look at it and see if anything was new. Heh, thanks for the nostalgia points, CC!
