any exotic pet owners?

bought a 7 inch long emperor scorpion day before yesterday. i promptly named him darth scorpio. big, black and very ill tempered. i put him in an aquarium iv converted into a habitat...well..its a habitat but i call it the rancor pit cause everything that gets thrown in there dies a sudden horrible death. last night i caught a waterbug or something out in my garage...dropped him in and lord scorpio grabbed him in both claws and ripped him in two pieces. cool as hell. so far i got 15 crickets and 5 more waterbugs cooling their heels on death row. maybe hes not the rattlesnake iv wanted for years but he's still an awesome pet. ill eventually get a rattler tho.

my dog once killed a can of alpo just to see it die.....errrrr...but i always wanted a farret. but i heard they are mischeivous and my dog hates pet competition. i remember living in texas and seeing scorpians all the time...little did i know they could be pets.

Scorpions rank right up there with tartantulas....cool from a distance, but I wouldn't want to be in the same room, let alone the same house as one! I'll take my pets in the four legged, furry variety, thank you. Oh, and by the way....I don't think you'll be needing a vet...but I wouldn't count on one friendly glance if you took that thing to a clinic...

I used to have ferrets...by GOD are they the cutest little boogers on the planet! Friendly, affectionate, playful, absolute berzerkers when really attacked as many a dog has learned 😀.
