I made some great videos last night with my new video camera of the first ever tied and tickled session with my girlfriend. However, its about 30 minutes long and needs to be chopped up. Are there any decent free programs for editing windows media files?

well windows movie maker is "decent". If you got windows it comes with it. Mac has their own too, although I've never owned one, dunno the name. 😛 Movie maker is pretty basic but gets the job done, best of all its easy to use. More "professional" ones cost money. At least all the ones I know of.

Not familiar with any freebie video editors. There's one for audio called "Audacity". It comes from sourceforge.net. I suppose they might have freebie video editors there too, for Linux and Windows.
