Anybody else in the path of a hurricane? LOL

Hey Y'all 🙂

If you've watched the weather channel this week, you know Isadore. Fickle things hurricanes....they can change course at the drop of a hat.

*sigh*

Right now, they are saying she is going to come right up in my front yard...lol. The price you pay for living on the water I reckon. So, here I am with my flashlights, bottled water, and thinking how much I hate to board up windows. *ick* The rain has been unreal here lately...the ground is already saturated, so I'm sure we'll have lots of water for a while. They are "recommending evacuations" and we're still 24 from landfall... It's a pain because the dang thing could end up back in Florida by then. Ahhh....better safe than sorry I guess.

Sorry to ramble...but it's the big thing happening in our world 'round here right now.

Hey thats nothing love!!!

Over here we had a "Mild Earth Tremor" on monday, and the epicentre was Dudley, unfortunatley no building fell down in Dudley so it was hardly worth the effort.

Don't worry, I'm sure someone will make up for it by demolishing a ancient building in favor of an unfinished road soon enough. 😛

No hurricanes, tornados, floods, or snow where I am. The earthquakes, fires, and drive-by shootings more than make up for it, though (not that I enjoy any of these) 🙂

May I suggest a nice bottle of absinthe or Ouzo to keep the frights away when the lights go out....
