anybody ever been tricked into being tickled?

I don't know if this counts - last year I was in a 7-11 store in Manila where one of the clerks, a girl in her 20s, had lost 500 pesos that day (about $12 American) which was two to three days pay for her - she asked "sir, can you give me 500 pesos" while I was standing at the cash register - they frequently think foreigners have lots of money there - I told her I'd give her 500 pesos if I could tickle her feet for half an hour - after I explained that I would only take off her shoes and socks and she could have another girl present, she went for it (in the back of the store) - and the other girl she brought back there with her did it as well for another 500 pesos.

True or not, sounds great to me! She got days worth of pay and you got some fun. Considering you said that is like several days pay for her I would have made her let me tickle her so much longer than 30 minutes though! and I would be dying for a video camera - do they sell cheap cameras in that store?? 😀

Though I dont think that counts LOL its not really a trick but more of a bargain.

I think that's how it usually happens in vanilla settings. I don't think people really sit down and plan out a time and place to tickle each other.

I'm usually pretty aware of potential trickery when around you fools. I don't think about tickling too much when I'm in vanilla surroundings anymore, so my guard is usually down. If someone casually asks me to do something that would put me in a vulnerable position to be tickled it usually doesn't set off any red flags, so I do it - because I'm a gullible derp.

Y'know, regardless of whether what tkl-pen did was "right" or not I can't help but wonder what it has to do with the OP, which is about people tricking you into being tickled. There was no trickery involved and pen didn't get tickled. So, color me confused.

You mean surprised? Yeah, that always happens and not just with tickling. As long as I don't have eyes in the back of my head and ticklish sides, it will continue to happen. Unless I am the last person left on the planet. That would be a bummer.
