Weird topic, I know, but I am a 27 y/o white guy with a sign-on that has "balla" in it....I feel like Summer's Eve would be less douchier.

Doesn't make any sense to me that they'd hate their name, yet they'd want to keep every single trace of evidence that they had it to begin with. A change of name to me has always meant a fresh start, 'cause no one is going to recognize you anyway unless you decide to type the name you were before in the signature, which at that point, you might as well have just kept the original name.

That could just be me, though.

I don't hate it; but I definitely feel like I've outgrown it over the past 5-6 years and that it doesn't fit me anymore. But, there's nothing I'd want to replace it with that makes sense to me, so it stays.

I've never liked my screen name, as its simply my real life name. If I remember correctly, I think this name may have been given to me, when we converted from the old non password site to the password one. Being one of the top posters on the forum, I was told its a pain for the mods to change it.

I guess even though I've never "liked" my name, I'm used to it after 11 years. One of the reasons I asked Mimi to make the Ladderlad signature for me, which she graciously did, is because I wanted to have a name that was something other than Mitchell.
