I tried to search for the word "foot" and all related in a dictionary... I haven't studied russian yet, but I'm going to, I think... And I dare not ask these from a teacher.
From the word "foot", I got these:
низ (niz) m, нога, нога f, подножие, подножие (podnóžije) n, стопа f, ступня, ступня f, фут (fut) m, кость f (kost), ножка, ножка (nóshka)
That's alot of words...
But luckily got only one for "sole of the foot" (an shoe I think): подошва
And "toe" gave me these:
# мысок (mysók) m
# носок (nosók) m
# палец
# палец (pál'ec) m
# палец на ноге (pález na nogjé)
# палец ноги
# палец ноги (pál'ec nogí) m
# палец m
So I just want someone able to translate russian to tell me which of those are preferred and which are definately used/not used and what differences are there? I think I wouldn't find out in years 😱
