Hello Mark, I'm John: also a Seattle 'ler... in theory anyway: 'lees semm to be kinda thin on the ground here, and no cool groups like NEST. Anyway, nice to hear I'm not alone in the Emerald City. Actually, I've been thinking about making an amateur tickling vid. I have some basic equipment (a couple of camcorders), but could use a partner of some kind. We could share the costs (hiring a model, renting dungeon space, etc.) and take turns running the cameras and tickling the model... does this idea apeal to you at all?

I'm a female tk fan, living in L.A. I had planned to move to Seattle this summer, but I've been out of work for 16 months and, consequently,the financial situation didn't cooperate. (I was a techncial writer who got laid off my job, June of last year. Ouch!)

If/when I can get up to Seattle, I'd like to give you (both) a call/email??? I'd be happy to help get a group started. (I did, in a ["the"?] local SM/BD club here called Threshold) I also had my own (mail order) business, in which I sold a variety of tk merchandise, years ago. So, I'm motivated to make the scene a happenin' thing, wherever I am.

I'm interested in starting up some kind of group as well as it seems the closest we can get to Nest is Portland. There are a couple of other Seattle folks here into tickling: Oblesek and ForeverRio come to mind. So let me know if you need any help in planning or getting this off the ground.

I'm an LA person myself and I was laid off about 3 months ago so I totally empathize with your situation! I don't know how you've survived so long! I'm bored already, ha. Plus the damn unemployment guys are always scrutinizing me, it's hard to find a job when you come from a very specific career! Anyway if you're bored or just want a buddy I'd be happy to chat. Hell, yes. The more the merrier! I mean, at the moment, I'm just talking about a single munch in the nrxt few weeks, but if something more regular comes of it that would be terrific.

😀 Yep, 'munch'. Came from USENET, for alt.sex.bondage, to describe a meeting place in my old part of California, where folks met in a burger joint. The name *was* burgermunch, but it shrank. Trippy, huh?

I've mailed my list. Asked 'em to mail ya and tell ya they're from West Coast Gatherings. Hope this takes off well, brother. That area has ever been so quiet. Even Vancouver and Portland have contributed folks. Even had a gathering in Oregon. Keep waitin' to get something goin' there, but it requires a host. You, my friend, are hosting a munch.
