anyone living in the SE of the US? the gas?

is it true? is there a gas shortage in the southeast? like georgia, north carolina etc? i heard there are lines...and lines...of cars, vehicles whatever..waiting for gas..and only allowed twenty dollars a car..has anyone else heard this? we are headed south tomorrow...hubby says he already has it planned how he is going to get gas..hmm anyone know this for sure?

It's eased up this week, but last week my small community college in NC closed for two days due to the lines/lack of gas...>_<

Short form of it, no. There isn't. There's an artificial shortage manufactured by rich old men.

Oil companies will probably start doing this as prices fall farther and farther just to help jack up faltering profits. Remember, boys and girls...

i worked at a local gas station, and yeah, there was a shortage, we ran outta regular and plus gas for a week, and almost ran outta premium before a new shipment came in. many pissed off customers that week.
