Anyone who uses Yahoo Messenger

Is anyone besides me getting a message that says:

This update to Yahoo! Messenger addresses a security vulnerability and should be installed immediately.

Has anyone upgraded yahoo messenger without any problems? Has anyone been having problems with yahoo messenger.

I've noticed that I keep receiving those stupid Messenger service pop ups and I can't stop them.... But I only get them when I have Internet Explorer or Yahoo Messenger running.

This is getting on my nerves!

Noticed no side effects.

But then, I don't have fancy equipment.

Still, trust them or dump them.

Th only pop-up I get when I log into Yahoo! Messanger is the Yahoo! Insider window. But that only happens every time I log in, and nothing else pops up.

I rec'd that message a few days ago. I downloaded the update and haven't had any problems. I did wait a day or two before downloading, and that message popped up everytime I logged in to yahoo messenger. Now that I downloaded it, the message is gone.

I installed that update on mine last night. I'd been getting that message for about 2 weeks, and every time I would try to accept the update, it would give me an error message. For some reason, last night, it worked.
