AOL chatroom

Whatever happened to the AOL tickling chatroom? Did everyone just lose interest?

The AOL chatroom was forced to close by AOL. I don't remember the specifics but if my memory serves me right it was something to do with children. That chatroom was always touted as an adult only chatroom yet teens often would join in. I believe some rather unsavory characters were in there seeking some underage folks.

It's unfortunate but I do know that Bob is working very hard to get it back up and running. In the meantime there are several other chats that occur like the one here on TMF and I believe there's one or two through Yahoo and there are often rooms in AOL still like... TK regulars, Ye Old Tickling Room, Ticklish, and other things that reference "THAT" word.

The ban on tickle rooms was brought about by a bunch of people who kept coming in (mainly from outside the community) and starting all kinds of TOS problems. No public rooms are allowed.

That doesn't mean that private rooms can't exist. We have one set up connected with our site name....but open to the entire community. Since it's fairly new, there aren't a lot of people around yet. But, if you hang our a while, they start popping in. Just keep it clean if you stop by please. Here's the link again.
