so they mods dont think im doing it purposely. have you been in the chat room lately nuetron. theres alot of bad mouthing going on.

Why Apologize?

Because being polite and showing that one can show others respect is always a nice skill to have regardless of the medium used to communicate.

One of the big problems of the web is that many tend to see the people they are interacting with as somehow less then 'real' and thus feel free to behave like ignorant oafs.

Those folks tend to bring the entire space they interact down to their level by starting argumants, randomly insultign folks, and being the sort of person you'd call the management on if you encountered them in the mall or a theater.

With his apology, AA is showing a touch of civility and indicating that he felt he has overstepped the boundries of politelness.

Well Tron, you're obviously thick-skinned enough for me calling you an asshole or whatever not to hurt. But some people do. Not everyone is as 'durable' as others. I don't know if you're married or you've got kids or anything, but for Devil's Advocate's sake, imagine you do. Yur 15 year old daughter is talking to someone in a chat room who suddenly starts calling her a whre, a bitch or any other sort of insult you care to mention. Might even be a bit of filthy sex talk involved. It's only the internet, neither your daughter or the perv on the other end know each other. No physical harm can come of it, right? But precisely how would you act if you suddenly came face to face with that person? IF you're anything like anyone, you'd rip his windpipe out and beat him to death wih the tonsil end.

yeah i did draw it ^_^ it was part of a really weird comic i made when i couldn't sleep one time- there's a dog in it too and he ends up cooking the fish with his lazer vision.
