Appropriate titles to posts

When posting a question, statement, comment, or otherwise directed thought, it's REALLY helpful when you post a Subject that actually mentions the topic on which you'll speak.

Before anyone gets new age sensitive on me, this ain't a slight to anyone. It's a suggestion based on having tried to FIND a certain post, or direct someone to a post, and realizing that the title has NOTHING to do with the actual subject matter.

Please, mention your topic in the subject line. Yeah, the topic of SY brought this up again for me, but that wasn't the first, won't be the last, and doubtless the poster saw a bunch of others doing such, and figured it was the way of things here. Gotta know to change it, y'know. Now we know, so potentially, we can make all the posts more easily locatable, etc.

Or not. Your choice, of course.

thank you very much for responding to me. fFr a while no one seemed to respond to any of my post replies. I was wondering if i had made bad waves here with my fancy talk.

btw.. where was YOUR subject line??? Or did you mean enter a subject line in the thead starter.

last thought... Why doesnet ANYONE have ANYTHING to say about Psycho returning , or the nick clip, religion or underage tickling?? If no one will .. i may start several new theads on each!!

Oh, and I was specifically referrin' t'the initial Subject line, since, when replyin', only the initial one is visible, in the path of the thread above the reply area. Yeah, I know yer crackin' wise. Heck, I appreciate it! Just figure I oughta clue again for the studio audience. 😉

Well I don't mind trying to do this (if my old brain remembers to). After all if wasn't for the forum we would still be in AMT hell, and I never want to go back there.......please!

sounds like a plan to me! Valid titles in the "subject line" is a good thing and can be a lot of help negotiating thru the Discussion board. 😛
