Here's the Bird Spider I was telling you about. This is a species of Bird Spider called the Lasiodora Parahybana, or Salmon Pink Bird-Eating Spider.
Just for a sense of the scale of this Nightmare from Hell...
...that thing in its mouth is a FRIGGIN' BULLFROG!!!
(Yeah, I know I could have just posted the link like Marauder did and spared some of you the shock...but contrary to popular belief, I am a much bigger prick than the Pirate.)
The scientific folk will tell you that a spider qualifies as "large" if you can see its largest eyes from two feet away. A spider is considered "huge" if you can see its mouth. This sumbitch? You can see his friggin' balls in the dark!!
We do not need things like this on the planet. Screw Darwin.
