This is a 4 hour film that is in two parts, The Argentine and Guerrilla entitled Che.
The first part The Argentine is about the Cuban Revolution showing how Fidel Castro's guerrilla fighters overthrew Batista's government.
The second part Guerrilla is about Che Guevera's attempt at revolution in Bolivia that led to his demise.
It will be released on a very limited release in the US for one week in December and one week in January. Critics who have viewed it at film festivals have been saying it is a must see and one of the best films ever made. It also is stirring up a lot of controversy, understandably, saying how the film "glorifies Communism" and "glorifies the man responsible for countless murder and mayhem".
I've been waiting for this for a long time. I love del Toro and can't wait to see this one.
