The Good Guys packed their bags for another road trip to Cincinnatti, Philadelphia, and Washington. They swept three in a row from the Reds, lost two of three to the Phillies, and then won two of three from Washington. They returned home on a Sunday night to begin a nine game homestand against the Mets, Braves, and Astros, with further court hearings scheduled.
Apparently, there had been a serious rumor started about the Good Guys, and their future, that the team's attorney was checking into, and was looking to be more substantiated by the day. Despite the fact that Alan's payroll was far less than other major league ballclubs, the Good Guys also generated less revenue than other major league teams, due to their broadcast contract, and ticket prices being lower. Alan had apparently learned through certain channels that if he contracted the Good Guys, and broke up the team, he would receive a major contraction payment from Major League Baseball. The lawyer, and members of the baseball team were incredulous when they learned of this, and filed a second lawsuit, which stated that even if the team prevailed in the original lawsuit for the freedom to hold their fetish activities, they also wanted the court to force Alan to sell the team. Further, they wanted an additional stipulation which would state in writing that whoever purchased the team from Alan, could not contract the team, or sell it to anyone who would contract it, thus keeping the team in existence, and everyone's jobs in tact. This development caused even more bad blood, in an already uncivil situation.
The team tried to take their minds off this new and unfortunate development by turning their attention to baseball, with a nine game homestand. The homestand opened on a Tuesday night, and Kate Hudson would kick things off against the Mets. She did a fabulous job, pitching eight excellent innings, and striking out ten, in a 3-1 Good Guys win. Gil Bellows followed her, and pitched almost as well, allowing three runs over six innings, in an eventual 8-5 Paradise Island triumph. Charlize Theron would cap the series on a sunny Thursday afternoon, but the Good Guys couldnt sweep, as they fell behind 5-0, and tried to fight back, only to fall short, 5-4.
Atlanta would enter Paradise for the middle series of the homestand. Neve Campbell kicked off the series on Friday night, and did fine, pitching into the seventh, in a 4-2 Good Guy win. The fifth starter pitched on Saturday night, and he got hammered, allowing eight runs in three innings, in an 8-0 whitewashing. Sunday afternoon featured a marquee pitching matchup of Kate Hudson versus Atlanta ace John Smoltz. Both pitchers were at the top of their game, matching zeros for the first eight innings, but Smoltz blinked first, allowing a leadoff solo homer to Mitch in the bottom of the eighth, as the Good Guys sweated out the ninth, with Naomi and Bynes finishing a Hudson shutout, 1-0.
The Astros came to town to finish the homestand. After Gil Bellows got edged, 3-2, on Monday night, Neve Campbell was moved up a day to start for a sick Charlize Theron, and pitched credibly, but lost, 4-2. Charlize capped the homestand on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. Recovered from her flu, and with an extra day's rest, Charlize had a cracking fastball that day, striking out fourteen Astros, and allowing but one run in eight innings, as Naomi and Bynes finished a 4-1 Good Guy triumph won by Mitch in the bottom of the eighth on a grand slam homerun. The Good Guys had completed a fine six and three homestand, and not only was progress being made on the lawsuit, but the Good Guys, and their legal team, were confident that things would break in their favor, now that the real source of the trouble and lawsuit had been learned of.
In the meantime, there was more curious behavior from Alan and his corner. Following the loss to Atlanta on Saturday night, as the Good Guys held their own tickle party at the fetish club. there were more sounds of laughter coming from Alan's suite at the hotel. Apparently, Alan had hired a pro dom to tickle his girlfriend's twin sister, who was seen by one of the team's spies bound naked to a bed, and was being tickled unmercifully by both Alan, her sister, and the hired dom. Alan and the dom surrounded the sister on either side, and began simultaneous tickle on her neck with fingers as the giggles began: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! NOOO! Then, Alan and his girlfriend tickled her sister on her ribs, sides, and belly, counting her ribs with fingers, as the sister begged for mercy, and bucked at her restraints:HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! OOOH NOO! PLEASE NO! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Then, the dom took over again, tickling the twin sister on her inner thighs, and behind her knees, causing bucking motions. Finally, they got to the soles of the sister's mega senstive feet. Here they all took turns. First, Alan's girlfriend attacked her sister with fingers on her soles and toes, causing hysterical girlish laughter. Then, Alan took over, running a feather over both of the sister's soles, and underneath, and inbetween all ten of her toes. Finally, the dom took over, and gave the sister the tickle torture to remember, running an electric toothbrush, pipe cleaner, ice, and strokes of her long, sexy, tounge over the sister's soles, under her toes, and inbetween her toes. Alan's girlfriend's sister lost all control at that point, moving her toes every which way, and squealing with uncontrollable laughter, begging for mercy! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! PLEASE NO MORE! Finally, the sister, exhausted and panting, was untied from the bed, Alan paid the dom the agreed upon $250 for tickling his girlfriend's sister for the hour, the dom left, the sister took a shower, and then Alan, his girlfriend, and girlfriend's sister went out to a nice dinner on the hotel grounds, trying to be inconspicious about what had happened for obvious reasons.
The Good Guys Private Investigator had a wealth of information to pass along to the team to use for their lawsuit, information that would hopefully aid in quashing Alan's claim that the team's fetish situation was his reason for breaking up the team, when his real motive was the large contraction payment he would receive if it happened.
