Attaching a pic to a PM

All I wanted do do was send a pic to a friend I was PMing. And, no it wasn't X-rated! And I'm not tech savvy, so I have no idea what a URL or IMG are... You can attach pics to posts by going to the "brose" box or the URL one, which ever you choose. So why don't you get that choice in a PM?
Instead of making it an argument, why not have a separate email for sending pics?
Or, to elaborate what myr said:
A URL is a link and IMG is short for "image"
You can embed an image that is hosted online into a private message by taking the URL (link) which should end in .jpg instead of .com, and putting IMG brackets around it.
Example:
[ IMG ] www.picture.jpg [ / IMG ]
(without spaces though)
