Free in-browser game (all you need is to install the unity web-player plugin): http://fenglee.com/game/aog/
Anyone here play this game at all? I've played the shit out of it and have actually gotten rather good at it. I would suggest not playing it unless you've seen the anime because there are some massive plot spoilers in it.
For a free game that some guy made on his own, it's really impressive. The game feels extremely fluid, the physics are spot on most of the time and it's just so satisfying to progress in the game in terms of skill. Learning the best ways to approach a situation, how to use the grapples properly, helping out your team or going "one man army". The only problems I really have is that lag is a massive momentum killer, it's hard to do well when titans can kill you even though you've moved out of their range and it's also very intimidating for new players because the learning curve is so steep. It's so simplistic such that it doesn't take itself too seriously and just gives you what you'd want from an AoT game but it's deep enough gameplay wise that you'll keep playing it to see yourself improve.
If you're a fan of the anime or just like swinging around like a lunatic from buildings and trees chopping down giants, I would suggest at least giving it a try.
