I was trying to attatch a picture to a post.After 10 mins. it still say's uploading file(s) please wait.Am i doing something wrong here?It is a small pic in .jpg format.

Off the top of my head, a few things that could be issues pop up. To see if any are right, I need to know some things. First, what is your internet connection type (Dial-up, DSL, Cable, some other)? Second, what is the size of the image, both in terms of bytes and in terms of dimensions?

Can you email it to me? HDS can try uploading it. If I can make it work, then perhaps I can narrow down the issue on your computer. is the email.

Thanks for your offer to help.I did try to e-mail it but Outlook Express has struck again,can't connect to server.My connection is Roadrunner,the size is 3.1 kb and if you mean actual dimension of the pic. maybe 1 by 1/12 inches.I'm new to computers and have a lot to learn.If this does not help i will try to e-mail it again later.

Roadrunner would be fast, so no speed limitations there...I'd say it might be something to do with AOL, but Roadrunner does not guarantee AOL is being used.

If your email isn't working, it sounds like you have bigger problems than just uploading here. Are you new to Roadrunner?

I have had Roadrunner since Feb. last and have had lots of problems with my e-mail.It works fine for a while that seems to get gremlins for a few days.I will try to e-mail it again tomorrow,and again thanks for all your trouble.

Testing the recieved file...hmm. It appears to work. Let us test if it is just the TMF that gives you troubles. Try uploading the same file to imageshack. http://www.imageshack.us Use the browse button on the main page and see if it will work (If it does, you'll be taken to a page with a number of links to your newly uploaded image). I just did it with the file you sent and it worked.

It uploaded to imageshack with no problems.Must be something on the forum.

Odd that it is a specific site. It could be something to do with Road Runner, but I honestly couldn't say. This is one problem there may be no solution I can find.

Hey thank you for all your help and trouble.I will keep playing around with it and see what happens.
