Attention All Members: Please Read

As you may or may not be aware, the TickleTheater finished its recent server switch several days ago. However, as you've also probably noticed, the server has been, well, somewhat quirky. We, the Staff, have also recieved notice that one member is having trouble posting and remaining logged in. We're asking all members now who are having any difficulties with the forum or who notice any odd behaviour to either post here, if they can, send myself or one of the other Staff a PM, if they can, or, if the Theater blocks them from from doing any posting or PM'ing, send me an email at describing the problem.

Problems we are aware of:
Missing Disclaimer Page: The page normally visible at http://www.tickletheater.com, where one reads a disclaimer and checks a box for entry if they agree, has vanished. We are investigating.

Missing Posts: Some members appear to be missing posts in the forums, although they are visible by going to that members profile and selecting "View all posts by user." If you are a member affected by this, please post or otherwise send myself or one of the staff a link to the missing post(s).

PM Issues: It appears that some members are experiencing PMs not going through or being slow to do so. At the moment, we attribute this to an unusually high load on the server, which is under investigation.

I sure hope this isn't happening to the people who are wanting to consult me via PM. I am starting to wonder if my messeges ever did get through. Coincidentally, the conversations started about the time of the server switch.

Ona possibly unrelated note, do you know what is causing the current server hiccups, where it seems to go down for periods of time, and if and when things will be resolved? Thanks 🙂 .

I check the "remember me" box on sign-in, but I have to sign back in every time I access the forum anew. Is this normal...?

Can I ask what browser program you are using, i.e. Firefox or Internet explorer. And do you know if cookies are enabled on your browser?

Kimiko is probably right on that one, Koopa. Sounds more like a browser error. Kimiko and gilmourwaters: has this been happening very recently? i.e. the last day or two? Prior to that there were indeed server issues at fairly regular intervals (Bad RAM was a culprit), but I think we've been stable the past day or two. Is this not the case?

Today seems to have been ok yeah ^_^ . Wast on that much yesterday but I'll find out from other people to make sure. Glad things have been resolved though ^_^ . I've had dodgy ram on one of my computers before, real pain in the butt.

Sorry for my enforced silence recently, I've been without an internet connection (signing to Tiscali, I'm still actually waiting, but am sharing my dad's computer in the meantime... 🙂 ).

I have IE6 and yes, cookies are enabled; all the other sites that I sign into that have a "remember me" function are working fine... 😵 😵
