Ok, so the wife beater is back, the movie star named The Rock has returned, you have a guy named Triple H, who is only were he is because of the Boss's daughter. Also you have a 50 yearold guy (Hulk) set to fight a 50+ year old guy (McMahon) at the WWE's biggest show of the year Wrestle Mania XIX. That is a sorry state of pro wrestling today.
Sadder still was that the WWE didn't even ring the bell 10 time while showing the late Curt Hinig's (age 44) picture on the TV. I supose the fan's of the late "Mr Perfect" should be happy thay did anything, they wated two weeks before doing anything for David Smith (aka the British Bull Dog)died. When Owen Hart died they did a bog kabash, but that grabbed alot of raiting didn't it Mr. McMahonsloughter...EH?!?
I know some of you will say..."Hay that was along time ago, it sucked but move on"...well it more then just sucked, and the death of pro wrerstlers is almost becoming a trend
. I don't think there has been a time when more young active grappler's have either face a career stopping if not life ending injury. It's all because of the fan's, not the real fan's of the art of Pro Wrestrling, the blood thirsty jerk off's who need to see Jeff Hard jump off the Ladder one more time. The vicouse punks who want to see old women get put threw tables, or see a guy get dropped threw the top of the Hell in a Cell cealing.
I love pro wrestling, mostly the athletic side (that's why I watch SmackDown). Now however it no longer "suspends my disbeleaf" as DDP once called it. The little guys do nothing bu jump around, even Steamboat, Savage, the Hart Brothers and other smaller grapplers had to wrestle to wear the guy down...to make it LOOK real, to suspened our disbeleaf. Then came Shawn Micheals and the age of the stupid. No more grappling, no more "realistic" performances, just a buntch of punching, kicking, and curssing.
With the return of Austin I will no longer be watching RAW. That's sad because of how the Women's divition is realy comming along, and is one of the few things I liked about that show. Plus the sit-com like dram of Goldust and Booker T (or Black Gold as i like to call them). I still have lots to look forwared to on SmackDown, until the Gimp...er...the Game and Steph "Skanky" McMahon fined away to screw that one up for me.
Think about what I've written (sorry for the spelling) and remeber it when you watch the next RAW this comming Monday. I'll be doing something, anything, elts but!
