Two teenage boys were arrested Friday in the shocking shooting death of an infant, killed in the stroller his mother was pushing in a coastal Georgia town.

Seventeen-year-old De'Marquis Elkins is charged as an adult with first-degree murder, along with a 14-year-old who was not identified because he is a juvenile, Brunswick Police Chief Tobe Green said.

The mother, Sherry West, was wounded in the apparent attempted robbery Thursday morning. The precise motive still is under investigation.

Officer Todd Rhodes of the Brunswick Police Department told FoxNews.com earlier that numerous tips had been received in connection to the shooting, and police had been going door to door searching for the suspects. Investigators also were checking school attendance records for leads.

The 17 year-old shot the baby in the face, and will be in prison for a very long time. Once Sherry West fully recovers, and finds a new job: all her tax money will go to the murderer of her baby. He will get free food/beverages, clothing, television, books; whatever, in prison... The 14 year-old will be another parasite in our "beautiful system," and the people who hates that kid, will have to pay for his parasitism - thru taxes; free-shit for him too! There will be no true justice in the end! Because authoritarians are greed pigs, and the population will forget this, in short time...

I was thinking Sherry West is given a gun, and is allowed to shoot the 17 year-old in the face - if she so chooses(justice)! And, the 14 year-old should watch, and if he closed his eyes; well, Sherry should decide his punishment. That should not be death, since he is not the killer.

Mitch posted a thread about drinking alcohol at a certain age, and everybody pinpoints a x year age range or "condition." At what certain point are people responsible? What is the True Age?

I am all for supporting individuals who cannot take care of themselves, but when insanity runs rampant and brings death. A more efficient system needs to be put in place. The system should be voluntary, and all parties agree internally.

I heard about this case on the news last night. Tragic. What makes it doubly tragic, is that this is the second child this poor woman has lost to violence.

The killers should be executed... bottom line. No.. "They were juviniles" In a case as cold blooded as this, they took an innocent baby's life, and should be made to pay with their own lives.

I went back and read the news article a second time......I didn't catch the entire altercation from the mother's account. Actually we should go old school movie jungle justice on their asses and boil them in oil. Let the family of the victim stoke the fire and throw them in.

I do not appreciate my money being wasted keeping this scum alive. How can you shoot a baby in the face? She said she didn't have any money; any mother I know whould've given anything to protect their child so if she said she had no money they should've left them alone......instead he shoots her baby in the face?
