Bacon Milkshake? I Think I'm Going To Hurl!

I was just on Facebook. The lovely Ms Liz Cho, from WABC TV in NYC, posted on her Facebook page about Jack In The Box Resturants introducing the "Bacon Milkshake", which, according to Ms Cho, is simply that, a milkshake, with bacon in it!

Ugh! Personally, I think it sounds disgusting! The comments I read to the post about this subject, weren't too favorable.

Did anyone else hear about this new "product" from Jack In The Box? Thoughts?

I think Denny's tried that during the Bacon celebration week. Nice way to blow out your arteries.

Ages ago, Skippy used to market a kind of peanut butter with "Smoky Crisps". It was smooth, standard-issue peanut butter with the kind of artificial bacon-bits which you might find on salad bars, except that these were a lot closer in flavor and texture to the real deal.

My siblings and I went through jar after jar of the stuff before it was discontinued. (If anyone from Skippy is reading this, won't you please consider re-releasing it?)

On the very rare occasions when I have a milkshake, I'll stick with vanilla or maybe strawberry, made with Blue Bell ice cream.

Denny's. Meh. I'd rather eat at one of the few local diners still in existence. The food's a lot cheaper if not better.
