Bad News.....

Thank you to all those who showed support, but my band Ditch, is over. We had many problems with our music style, and we just flat out cannot get along. I guess we each had our own plans for this band.....I am really saddened by these turn of events.....I wont go into details, but I just wanted everyone that followed and supported my updates to know.

I'm really sorry to hear that. From your posts it really sounds like you love being a musician, and I hope you won't let this get you down and will keep pursuing that dream on some level.

Krokus, I feel for ya, man. I've been down that road many times. A band can sometimes be like a microcosmic family, and when it falls apart it can be hard. Don't let this stop you from pursuing what you want to do on your terms. It's really hard when the band is on its way to recording. I was in a band in '89 that did two albums, and even then we wound up splitting up. The guitarist and myself could not get along for beans, the drummer slept with our singer, whose boyfriend was our manager, our bassist had this "we were supposed to play tonight?" thing going on....you know the drill.

been there, done that, got the T-shirt and spilled free beer all over it😉 . Dave's right on the money, it gets like a family, no matter how dysfunctional. I think my band days are behind me, but I never could keep from setting up in the garage just for old times sake... heck, maybe someday I'll get another band... Geritol could sponsor the tour ;-)
