aenglish, this isn't a photograph, if that's what you're thinking. It's computer generated art. I believe such pictures are referred to as "posers" because of the software program involved. My understanding is that the technique employs 3-d wire frames, rather than 2-dimensional line as you'd find in conventional graphic art. I have no expertise (or indeed any real deep understanding) in this field, so please take everything I've just said with a grain of salt. BrendanBkr might want to correct any false impressions I've created.

On second viewing - you're right. This computer modeling program needs a little refinement so that the people depicted with it look like people and not like androids! It's definitely the next phase in graphics though.
